Our Story

As a crew of lifelong friends and locals who want to see our community thrive - we had decided years ago on the idea of a junk removal business. At the time, we were not completely sure of what that idea entailed, but we wanted to move forward with it, having been inspired by community service we had all done together and individually throughout our lives at local churches, non-profit organizations and more. Our name - One Armed Haul - is inspired by one of our closest friends, Nick Cappillo. Nick is a warrior with a ton of accomplishments under his belt thus far in life, many having to do with his battle and triumphs with osteosarcoma. During our later teenage years, Nick had to undergo multiple surgeries to battle this, including one that required the full amputation of his arm. Nick took this step in battle boldly and continues to live a life of strength and courage, and has done many awesome things, such as set world records around one-armed challenges. Though Nick may not be out on the truck with us, he is definitely a major inspiration behind our business and daily drive for success.

Thus, to finish the story - the name One Armed Haul was born!
